In this case, the 800 lb. cast bronze moose was found on eBay and quite literally drop shipped to it’s new Adirondack home. The moose was left on its pallet at the beginning of a half mile long dirt access road where it remained for a couple of years until someone could be found to undertake the project of installing the moose lakeside near the lodge. The owner’s concept was to fasten it to a concrete pedestal a foot or so above ground. A field decision was made for a more natural installation.
